After his talk, I took a picture of Lieberman with a supporter and he shared a quick aside: “No war questions tonight–that’s interesting.” Clearly, given the political pain he has endured on this issue while standing up for principle, Lieberman is very eager to see it fade, and so it’s the main thing he would note about his Q&A session. I’m sure he would be happy to have no war questions from now until primary night.
