John McCormack

I did not see the interaction between Dede Scozzafava and John McCormack last night, so I can’t swear as to what happened.

If McCormack ever needs a character witness, however, he knows where to find me. We first met when he was a college student. I judged a student journalism contest; he was the winner. Then he worked at National Review in D.C. as a summer intern. We were in daily contact. We’ve stayed in touch since.

The behavior that Matt Burns of the Scozzafava campaign attributes to McCormack is unbelievable. This is not the person I know. In fact, I do not believe it. This is a smear job.
