In Wednesday night’s CNN/Univision debate, Jorge Ramos asked a question many Americans have wondered since the start of the 2016 campaign: Will “you drop out of the race if you get indicted?”
Clinton initially ignored the question, reiterating her perspective that creating a personal server “was not in any way disallowed and . . . my predecessors did the same thing.” She cited Colin Powell saying recently the government overclassifies and, of her own e-mails, “what we have got here is a case of overclassification.”
“If you get indicted, are you going to drop out?” Ramos followed up.
“Oh, for goodness sake, that’s not going to happen,” Clinton shot back. “I’m not even answering that question.”
