Ramesh: I wasn’t necessarily lumping Gerson in with the people who falsely present Catholic Social Teaching as if it were the Democratic platform. I was just pointing out that CST is perfectly compatible with limited-government conservatism, and in fact many of its tenets suggest an economic world-view that we would consider conservative.
