Justin Trudeau Wants Us All to Say ‘Peoplekind’ Instead of ‘Mankind’

At a town hall event last week, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau seemed to be struggling to relate to his fellow citizens as they shared their perspectives with him.

“In Canada, our volunteering as a charitable religious organization is extremely difficult,” one young woman said to Trudeau in front of the crowd. “We came here today to ask you to also look into the policies that religious charitable organizations have in our legislation, so that they can be changed, because maternal love is the love that’s going to change the future of mankind . . . ”

But before she could complete her thought, Trudeau interjected, feverishly waving his left hand to stop her remarks before intoning ominously into the mic, “We like to say ‘peoplekind,’ not necessarily ‘mankind.’”

It must be difficult for Trudeau to come up with enough new material to maintain his reputation as the most sanctimonious Social Justice Warrior of all time.
