Only Republicans Who Are Men Are Fit to Ask Questions at the Ford Hearing

The bizarre position of convenience of the anti-Kavanaugh opposition is that there is something fundamentally unfair or untoward about Ford being questioned by a woman counsel. Here’s the tweet that Charlie pointed to relaying Feinstein’s posture:

A counsel is a good idea, not only because it will avoid a potential problem of political optics for the Republicans, but it should guarantee a relatively coherent and sustained line of questioning, which these hearings typically lack. Of course, if the committee buckles and ditches the idea of a counsel, all the same people objecting now will turn around and hammer Republicans for being a bunch of men questioning a woman accuser.
