Lou Barletta’s campaign to be one of the few Republicans to unseat an incumbent Democrat congressman this year got another boost from widespread news coverage of yesterday’s hearing defending his local anti-illegal-immigration ordinance. The invaluable Kris Kobach appeared before a panel of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, along with the ACLU lawyers attacking the city of Hazleton, where Barletta is mayor.
