Kerry Lectured An Empty Room

I was told time and time again in 1999 that a Texas Governor named George

W. Bush was terrific in small groups. Now I see what they meant. Bush

feeds off people’s reaction like a good businessman/salesman. Kerry’s

twenty years in the Senate has made him most comfortable addressing an

empty room, as any viewer of C-SPAN II has seen day after day.
