The other day Rich raised one advantage of Edwards — that he would put positive competitive pressure on Kerry to become a better campaigner. So far, I think that’s happened. Kerry has smiled more in the last week than I’ve seen him smile in the previous decade. It helps, but it does look like he’s out of practice.
