The Key to My City

My hometown of Detroit will be the center of national attention this weekend, as it hosts the Superbowl. And from what I can gather, most of the locals will be cheering for the Steelers, in large part because of native Detroiter Jerome Bettis. The other day, the mayor gave Bettis the key to the city. It has been awarded only three times previously. The other recipients have included the actor James Earl Jones, the neurosurgeon Benjamin Carson, and some guy named Saddam Hussein (scroll down to the second item).
