The administration conducts everything according to a political timetable, Charles Krauthammer said Monday evening.
During his panel appearance on Special Report, Krauthammer ticked off a list of events that the White House conducted around the 2012 election, including the debt ceiling fight of 2011, which placed the next debt fight after the election; ending fighting in Afghanistan in the middle of the fighting season in 2012; and the internal report on Benghazi, which came out after the election.
“The worst element of it was Obama campaigning and saying, repeatedly, against the Republicans in 2012, ‘these [Republicans]. . .care only about the next elections,’ ” Krauthammer said.
