I think he’s right about Gonzales having to go. It might not be entirely fair, but…no, maybe it is. We’re going to be tied up for months and months and longer(?) with this non-scandal scandal that didn’t have to be. That he and his peeps could have avoided. With everyone talking about the c word — competence — (it’s on NR’s cover this week), the Bush administration needs to show that they are not going to allow incompetence to lamely (and dangerously) have a prominent place on the Bush team these next two years…

Last week I thought, “I wonder if Gonzales just needs to resign.” I think he probably does.
