Krauthammer’s Take: Obama ‘Destroyed His Presidency’ with Liberal Overreach

Without mincing words, Charles Krauthammer said that Donald Trump’s election has completely sunk Barack Obama’s legacy:

[Obama] said, “I will take it as a personal insult if you don’t turn out and support me and have our side win.” Well, he was personally insulted.

Historians are going to see him as a textbook definition of a guy who won on hope and change, who won with a wave of goodwill and who completely destroyed his presidency with liberal overreach, beginning with Obamacare. And this is a rejection of ideology. Unless the Democrats understand that — if they go left to a Sanders or a Warren in the future — they are not going to survive as a party.
