Krauthammer’s Take: The Obama Administration Never Had A Deal with Iran on Key Issues

Charles Krauthammer said the Obama administration clearly never had an agreement with Iran on key issues of the negotiations, despite touting its deal with Iran.

“What happened was the administration then announces that they have a deal in principle and all that’s left are details, when that’s demonstrably false,” Krauthammer said on Special Report. “I’m beginning to think—at the time there were others who said it, but I’m just not cynical enough—there were others who said we announced a deal in principle at the end of March knowing it was false as a way to protect Iran from congressional sanctions and to prevent the Congress from weighing in.”

Krauthammer added that he did not believe that certain points of the deal—regarding when sanctions would be relieved and how inspections would be conducted—were ever finalized.
