Krauthammer’s Take: Time for Cruz, Rubio ‘To Open the Bomb Bay Doors’ and Carpet Bomb Trump

The “only option” for knocking Trump off his game is more “mockery and ridicule,” Charles Krauthammer said tonight.

To prevent Trump from leaving tomorrow night’s debate “better positioned” than now, Rubio and Cruz must “open the bomb bay doors and drop all the remaining ordinates,” Krauthammer said on Wednesday’s Special Report. “If you look at the exit polls, late deciders did not go for Trump; they went to Rubio and Cruz. So it might work.”

“It’s the only option,” he said. “I would look for carpet bombing starting in about 12 hours — 24 hours from now.”
