Krauthammer’s Take: Trump’s Debate Decision ‘a Competition Between His Narcissism and Cattiness’

Donald Trump needs to find “an honorable” way back into Thursday’s debate, Charles Krauthammer said tonight on Fox News’s Special Report. 

“Well, look, he’s gotten what he wants, which is blanket wall-to-wall coverage of him, wiping out everything else going up to the debate,” Krauthammer said of Trump pulling out of the debate. “That I think was well played.”

“But I think he loses if he doesn’t show up,” said Krauthammer, because Iowans ”take their politics really personally.”

“This is a competition between his narcissism and his cattiness,” he said. “I would guess his narcissism, meaning staying out, is going to win over.”
