The Lady is a Champ

That’s no lady, that’s. . . .

Er, this story about Sarah Gronert (who certainly didn’t choose to be born gender-amibiguous) crossed my desk the same day as did this handy “Gender Designation Change form,” available at your local DMV in Massachusetts:

I hereby swear, under the penalty of perjury, that this request for the selected gender designation to appear on my Driver’s License/ID Card is for the purpose of ensuring that my Driver’s License/ID Card accurately reflects my gender identity and is not for any fraudulent or other unlawful purpose.

Made me wonder: Would wanting to be world champ in women’s tennis constitute a fraudlent or unlawful purpose for changing your gender?

I’m just asking.
