Laffey for Governor

Conservatives would like to see Stephen Laffey run for governor in Rhode Island. He’s the guy who challenged Lincoln Chafee in the 2006 GOP Senate primary. Last year, Laffey said he wouldn’t run in 2010 — but some local Republicans are still trying to recruit him. (Here’s my three-and-a-half-year-old story for NR on Chafee vs. Laffey.)
