Lakes Cruise

Cruise the Great Lakes this July with me and fellow National Reviewers Jay Nordlinger and John Fund. We’ll be joined by George Gilder, Grover Norquist, and Bob Tyrrell. Details here. In addition to the seminars and conversations you would expect on such an excursion, you’ll receive added benefits that only native Michiganders can provide. I’ll talk about where Ernest Hemingway went trout fishing. Nordlinger has promised that when we arrive at Whitefish Point in Lake Superior, he will shout his Hiawatha war cry.

John J. Miller, the national correspondent for National Review and host of its Great Books podcast, is the director of the Dow Journalism Program at Hillsdale College. He is the author of A Gift of Freedom: How the John M. Olin Foundation Changed America.
