Last Call for Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer

The January 30 edition of the Morning Jolt looked at Trump’s cabinet and pointed to five figures as particular underperformers or liabilities: then–Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, then–Attorney General Pam Bondi, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. This past weekend, I noted that Noem and Bondi are gone.

Now three of the five are gone. “Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer is resigning from the Trump administration, the White House said Monday.”

So with the secretary’s imminent departure, let’s all raise a glass . . . er, you know what, maybe we should just say, “goodbye.”
