The Left-Handed Wrench

Noah Pollack has a post at Contentions slamming “J Street,” the new lefty counterpart to AIPAC that describes itself as seeking “to change the direction of American policy in the Middle East and to broaden the public and policy debate,” blah, blah, blah. But what I found interesting is the name — for those from outside Washington, there is no J Street, the letters going from I Street to K Street. Sending tourists to an address on J Street is a prank, like asking for a left-handed wrench or a bucket of vacuum.
