Well, obviously:
US Police can suffocate citizens to death on camera with impunity whilst the world watches on. No real surprise over #TortureReport.

As Fred Fleitz and Tom Rogan both observe on the homepage, there is good reason to be skeptical about the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on the CIA’s post–September 11 rendition, detention, and interrogation programs — the assumption-begging “torture” report. But that’s not stopping left-leaning commentators from tying the report to another dubious narrative of theirs, regarding events in Staten Island and Missouri.
Failed California state-senate candidate Sandra Fluke, for instance:
Horrified by #TortureReport & by how it mirrors domestic challenges of #sexualassault & violence against men of color by authority figures.

Author Nina Burleigh:

And others:
Reading this #TortureReport, it's not hard to see how police brutality against American citizens has been both tolerated and sanctioned.

Regardless of the veracity of the Senate report’s findings, the calculus required to equate the conduct of intelligence operatives attempting to gather information from suspected terrorists at overseas detention centers to momentary encounters between local police and citizens in public and in broad daylight is a recondite moral mathematics, indeed.
