LEMMINGS AIDE

Do lemmings commit mass suicide? This grave question was on my mind last month, when I asked readers of The Corner to send me their memories of a semi-famous 1950s wildlife documentary that claims that these Arctic rodents hurl themselves off steep cliffs to their dooms. Scores replied, with anecdotes and links — thanks to all. The resulting article, which includes an exclusive interview with Roy Disney (nephew of Walt), is posted elsewhere on NRO today. May the cruel and inhumane anti-lemming smear campaign now come to a screeching halt.
