Unfortunately, I think this sentiment is pretty pervasive out there, a general letdown about Bush after that first debate. E-mail:
“I have felt so unsettled since this debate. I don’t understand Presiden’t Bush’s performance, and I feel like he let me down. I really wish I knew why he didn’t do more when he could have.
We need someone to fight for us, so much is at stake for Americans here, for the entire world. I don’t feel confident that I have a leader who is going to fight for me.”
