That Letter to Iran

I don’t think it was improper, but I also don’t think it is likely to yield the intended results: So I write at Bloomberg.

A number of commentaries–this overheated bit by Fred Kaplan is the latest I’ve read–suggest that the 47 senators who sent the letter committed a felony by violating the Logan Act. Steve Vladeck provides a corrective to that view.
