Lion Eyes

An emailer:

Claire Berlinski wrote a very funny novel on the exact intersection of archaeology, Iranian nukes, and, well, e-mail romance. Notice the starred PW review, but alas, it sank without a trace. They seem to have put a better cover on the paperback, although it looks like it won’t be out until November. You would help a starving conservative out (well, not quite starving, but the weak dollar isn’t doing much for her lifestyle in Istanbul) by perhaps suggesting that people consider maybe investing $14 in a pre-order. It is a very entertaining book…
