The Corner

Live from Amen Corner

Alas, no blogging from the Masters — at least not on the part of the non-credentialed press (and that’s me, today). But I am attending the Monday practice round. And I will have something to say about it — and the Masters generally — in the next NR. For, I don’t know, the umpteenth year in a row, I have not been invited to play in the tournament. What are they afraid of? Afraid the “name” players will be embarrassed? So I am deigning to attend a practice round, just like an ordinary Joe.

And, incidentally, when we Augusta types talk about Amen Corner — we are not thinking of Pat Buchanan and Israel.
