Based on nothing much, I predict Rick Perry wins without a runoff today in the Texas Republican primary. As a safety, if it does go to runoff, it will be Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison. The senator will save them the long, expensive run-off campaign and drop out. Though not, of course, out of the Senate.
