Mark – I’m sorry if I don’t share your glee over the defeat of Chris Cannon. He always struck me as an honorable, thoughtful and serious conservative. In recent years he may have been wrong on this or that issue (by your lights and/or mine), but I think giddiness over his defeat to a former Dukakis supporter is misplaced. Cannon’s local newspaper’s endorsement makes the case well.
