Senator Dick Lugar’s campaign is slamming state treasurer Richard Mourdock for investing some of the state’s funds in junk bonds in a new ad up today. Overall, Indiana’s investment portfolio has remained strong, though Indiana did lose money on these bonds. The ad is below.
UPDATE: In response, Chris Conner, spokesman for Mourdock, tells NRO the new spot is “just another negative attack ad from a desperate campaign running on fumes.”
