We’ve seen polls suggesting that when the problem with the HHS mandate is explained — that it forces people to purchase and provide and participate in insurance coverage, including abortion drugs, they object to — people tend to be opposed to it.

They are the reason Romney threw cold water on the rhetoric about contraception last night and is coming out with this ad.
In the ad, which is reportedly to run in Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, a woman says, “Romney doesn’t oppose contraception at all” and is not Todd Akin. “I’m more concerned about the debt our children will be left with. I voted for Barack Obama last time. We just can’t afford four more years.” Those are the voters Obama is worried about losing and Romney sees within reach.
