I found NRO in early 2003 when my husband, a Navy officer, had just deployed with his ship for the beginning of the Iraq war. It, along with my local newspaper’s website, was my primary source of deeper information on what was happening in the war and understanding how it might affect my husband and his shipmates. I continued to read long after he was home. Three and a half years and two moves later, we subscribe to NR Digital, we still read NRO daily, and my husband is now an even more avid reader of the Corner than I am.
