Mapping Iran’s Achilles Heel

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) has launched a new website — IranEnergyProject.org – to serve as a resource on the companies involved in Iran’s energy sector, the status of sanctions legislation, news, and analysis.

The new website features analysis and research by FDD staff and fellows. Users – including government officials and journalists — can sort company information and news through a variety of filters, and search the site for specific information related to Iran’s energy partners, vulnerabilities, and existing and potential sanctions.

Through the Iran Energy Project, FDD provides leading research and analysis in support of strong, broad-based energy sanctions, including gasoline, natural gas, and oil sanctions, as well as targeted sanctions against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — all as part of a comprehensive economic-pressure strategy to end the Iranian regime’s pursuit of nuclear weapons, support for terrorism, and human-rights abuses at home and abroad.

Feedback is welcomed.
