CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo showed no patience last week with Maryland senator Ben Cardin’s adherence to the Democratic talking points on the fiscal cliff. She came out of the gate asking, “Are you guys just incompetent, or what?” Cardin didn’t get much talking done in the interview, but by the time Bartiromo was through, the people on the trading floor behind her were cheering her on.
