Mark of Obenshain

The rumors of the death of the Washington Times have been greatly exaggerated. True, the Times is becoming a very different newspaper from the one we have known for many years. This is sad and we’ll see how it does. In the meantime, the opinion page — always a strength — remains alive and kicking. In the spirit of this morning’s emerging theme of Democratic retirements and infighting, here’s a piece by Mark D. Obenshain that slams Virginia’s two Democrat senators, Mark Warner and Jim Webb, for their embrace of government-run health care. These two guys are lucky they aren’t up for re-election in 2010. Otherwise, they’d be high on GOP target lists.
