Former president Donald Trump will hold an evening rally in Wilmington, N.C., on Saturday, April 20, the same weekend he is set to appear at a Trump 47 fundraiser in Charlotte alongside Republican National Committee co-chairs Michael Whatley and Lara Trump. Saturday’s rally will mark the presumptive GOP presidential nominee’s first major campaign event since the start of his hush-money trial in Manhattan earlier this week.
Also planning to make an appearance at Trump’s Wilmington rally this weekend is Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, North Carolina Republicans’ headline-grabbing 2024 gubernatorial nominee who is set to take on Democratic attorney general Josh Stein in November.
