The big White House ‘08 news today is that the Iowa GOP’s Ames straw poll has been scheduled. Look for many a Republican presidential contender to bring food, entertainment and anything else that will draw the favor of Hawkeye State activists to the college town on August 11th next year.
Keep in mind that the first planned debate for the GOP field has also already been slated. Though it’s not certain that every candidate in the field will show, the South Carolina state party and FOX will put on the forum May 15th in Columbia.
