Mary Robinson and Suicide Terrorism

A lot of ink has been spilled about why Mary Robinson is an undeserving recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. More than even her stewardship of Durban, what surprises me is why the White House would bestow this honor on a woman who apparently believes that suicide bombing is a legitimate resistance tactic in humanitarian law, all the more so against the backdrop of growing terrorism in Afghanistan. I explain over at AEI’s blog.
