On MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell last night, Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick gave former congressman Barney Frank high praise despite passing him over to fill John Kerry’s empty Senate seat: “What’s not to like about Barney Frank? One of the best congressmen, I think, the country has ever seen and he’s served us so well here in Massachusetts. He was one of a number of folks on a long and deep list of talent.”
