This liberal blogger kind of misses the point in accusing me of hypocrisy in my reaction to McCain’s reception at the New School. He misses the difference between running ads attacking a senator in a political campaign–something that is obviously above-board–and heckling a senator at a commencement address. For the record, I would never have approved of students turning their backs on Max Cleland and repeatedly interrupting a speech of his. Amazing that the left can’t forthrightly condemn rank incivility.
