McCain goes after the tax issue

I don’t think I’ve ever heard McCain discuss taxes this way. Often syling himself as an anti-corporatist, he makes the standard conservative case for a cut in the corporate tax rate. He speaks as though he would cut taxes as president, even though he was the guy who voted against President Bush’s tax cuts.

“I’m very well-versed in economics. I was there for the Reagan Revolution…That’s why I have the support of people like Jack Kemp, people like Phil Gramm…”

Not the McCain you usually see.
