McCain: Obama’s ‘Unnecessary Risk’

Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) continues to oppose President Obama’s decision to reduce troop levels in Afghanistan. Speaking this morning with CNN from Kabul, he said that the president is taking an “unnecessary risk.” He noted that U.S. military commanders did not recommend the strategy. “I question whether this is the right decision,” he said. But with regard to Obama’s motives, “I can not question the president’s patriotism.”
