McCain Stat Needed

A statistic we’ve been hearing a lot lately is John McCain’s 82.3 lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union. It’s an important piece of information, but inquiring minds want to know more. Specifically, what is John McCain’s ACU rating for the past eight years? Presumably, it will be at least a bit less conservative than his rating for prior years, but how much less? Or will we get a surprise and see that McCain’s numbers haven’t changed much at all? I’m not saying this is a huge deal. McCain’s stands on issues that matter to conservatives are still important, independent of the overall numbers. Even so, calculating McCain’s ACU score over the past eight years and comparing it to his score in the years prior to that would be an interesting exercise. I’m not at all sure how it would come out.
