Meet The President

The 30th President, that is. The National Archives is presenting an evening with Calvin Coolidge on March 16–full details here (scroll down a bit). The actual President Coolidge having left the building some time ago, the show will feature professional actor Jim Cooke, whose claim to be the world’s foremost Calvin Coolidge impersonator is, he tells me, still unchallenged. (Jim also does Daniel Webster, John Quincy Adams, and Edward Everett (“the other speaker at Gettysburg”).)
