Meghan McCain, the daughter of Arizona senator John McCain, is set to star in her own reality show. She broke the news yesterday evening via Twitter:
The show, Raising McCain, will debut on Pivot, a new cable channel set to launch in August. McCain will go on the road, interviewing experts and laymen on wide-range of issues. Deadline Hollywood describes the series as “genre-busting docu-talk” that explores “the most important and unusual question of the day framed by Meghan’s experiences in her personal life.” McCain characterized it this way:
McCain, who has gained attention for her outspoken views, is currently a contributor to The Daily Beast and appears on MSNBC. Pivot is targeting a younger audience using the slogan “It’s Your Turn.”
