All politicians break campaign promises — or most of them do — but do you recall a president who has done so with quite the ease or impunity of Barack Obama? He says he won’t sign things with earmarks, then he does — ho-hum. He says he won’t issue signing statements, or strongly implies he won’t. He does — ho-hum.
