There’s a fascinating story in today’s NYT on a Mexican baby boom in New York. The report doesn’t seem to address the issue of whether these women are married. What I’d like to know is whether or not this baby boom fits the broader picture sketched by Heather MacDonald in her important article, “Hispanic Family Values?“
