Leftist intolerance for dissenting scholars is rapidly becoming so commonplace that cases hardly seem shocking any longer. But the Scott Gerber case is shocking because the power-mad officials at Ohio Northern University Law School (a) refuse to say why Professor Gerber was kicked off campus, (b) interrupted his teaching of a class to have him removed, and (c) felt the need to have armed officers present for the his termination.
If you think that sort of behavior by officials of a public university is intolerable, I beg you to watch this podcast, where Michele Tafoya interviews Professor Gerber.
It seems evident that the orders for his persecution had to come through Ohio Northern’s president, Melissa Baumann.
If she cannot see the blatant illegality of the way her school is treating Professor Gerber, she is simply unfit for the position.
Among other appalling aspects of this case is the fact that the university chose to lie about the presence of armed officers in the face of irrefutable evidence to the contrary.
