Some random observations on Disneyland (I’ve been in southern California all week):
* Watching a show with that Honda robot walking up and down stairs and the rest, all I could think of is that the Japanese are developing humanoid robots and we’re importing illiterates from south of the border – who’s going to end up with the better deal?
* The movie on California’s history at California Adventure is undiluted leftist agit-prop — with Whoopie Goldberg as the host, no less.
* Practically every ride tells you to buckle your seatbelt and watch your
children in Spanish, even though I heard only a handful of actual visitors actually speaking Spanish.
* Not having been on the Jungle Cruise in decades, I was pleased to see that it still insensitively features native tribesmen dancing and hurling spears.
