The Mirror Image Terrorists

Today, the second segment of the Uncommon Knowledge interview with Philip Bobbitt, author of Terror and Consent:  The Wars for the Twenty-First Century.  “Each new form of constitutional order,” Bobbitt argues,

Produces its own peculiar kind of terrorist.  And the sort of state that we and the European Union and states in Asia are becoming—a state that outsources and privatizes its activities, that is global, that is networked—that kind of state will produce a kind of terrorism that is global, that is networked, and that outsources and privatizes its terrorism.
